Matthew Kane is one of the few Master of Photography degree holders in the Rockford area. He is committed to continuing education, regularly attending seminars and conventions to stay current with evolving ideas and trends in the photography industry. He has also been invited to teach seminars at both state and national photography conventions.

Matt is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), the Associated Professional Photographers of Illinois (APPI), and the Professional Photographers of Northern Illinois (PPANI), where he previously served as President.

Matt has earned the PPA’s prestigious International Gold Level Photographer of the Year Award, an honor achieved by only 46 photographers out of more than 22,000 members. He has also been recognized multiple times as Illinois High School Photographer of the Year.
